You retain 100% of all intellectual property rights, copyrights, and ownership in all Gerber files, PCB designs, schematics, and vector data that you inspect or edit using GerberPatch.
Because GerberPatch operates strictly client-side within your browser, GerberPatch does not claim, store, transmit, or license any rights to your design files. All rights remain exclusively yours.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties & Manufacturing Liability
Critical Notice Regarding PCB Fabrication & Manufacturing
GerberPatch is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While GerberPatch employs 1nm integer mathematics and semantic subsequence block integrity checks to preserve coordinate integrity, the user assumes sole responsibility for verifying all exported Gerber files prior to submitting them to PCB fabrication houses (e.g., JLCPCB, PCBWay, Oshpark, Eurocircuits).
Under no circumstances shall GerberPatch, its developers, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to manufacturing scrap costs, PCB board redesign delays, component loss, or commercial business disruption arising from the use or inability to use this software.
4. Permitted Use & Conduct
You agree to use GerberPatch solely for lawful circuit engineering, PCB review, testing, and modification. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, inject malicious exploits, or interfere with the normal operation and security of the website.
5. Third-Party Links & Advertisements
GerberPatch may feature advertisements served by Google AdSense and links to third-party engineering services or external documentation. GerberPatch is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
